最近，一些中国动力电池企业纷纷在海外建立工厂。
根据美国伊利诺伊州官方的消息，国轩高科的子公司美国国轩计划在当地投资20亿美元新建电池工厂，包括电芯、模组、电池包和储能系统集成产品。该工厂计划在2024年投产，预计产能为10GWh的PACK和40GWh的电芯。
亿纬锂能的董秘江敏表示，2023年亿纬锂能将加快全球化进程，与锂电主要材料的领军企业合资成立了合资公司。目前的重点是运营这些合资企业，建立更流畅的流程，以在2024年及以后的时间里发挥战略供应链的价值，保证产品交付的质量和成本竞争力。
据了解，亿纬锂能目前与戴姆勒卡车、美国发动机企业康明斯的子公司以及美国大型卡车制造企业PACCAR合资在美国建厂，为这三家特定客户提供产品。此外，亿纬锂能还在匈牙利、马来西亚等地投资建厂。
欣旺达表示，目前公司在匈牙利的基地仍处于前期规划和合作洽谈阶段，尚未投入量产。预计该基地将于2025年底投产。
宁德时代在德国爱尔福特的首座海外工厂计划产能为14GWh，主要为宝马配套。去年12月，该工厂已开始量产锂离子电池电芯，具备向欧洲客户提供本地化生产和供货能力。宁德时代在匈牙利德布勒森的第二座欧洲工厂已于去年9月正式启动，计划产能为100GWh。
多家动力电池企业海外投资建厂的目的是扩大产能和销售。这种情况主要有两个原因：一是国内整体规划产能已能够满足市场需求；二是产能建设存在周期，国外大规模电动化车型集中投放在2025年以后。
国轩高科董秘办的相关人士在公司半年报业绩说明会上表示，公司正在从市场、产能、产品、技术、资本和供应链等多个维度推进全球化布局，努力开拓中国、亚太、欧非和美洲四大市场，构建国内和国际增长的双引擎。
今年2月，宁德时代与福特汽车达成协议，在美国密歇根州新建一座磷酸铁锂电池工厂，福特将投资35亿美元。宁德时代将提供技术支持和专利许可，预计该工厂将于2026年投产，年产能约为35GWh。
此外，中创新航、孚能科技、弗迪动力、蜂巢能源等电池企业以及部分材料企业在2022年和2023年重点布局欧洲和东南亚国家，产能逐步在2024年开始显现。
